Chapter 1: Parts of Speech
Definition:
Parts of Speech are the different types of words used in a sentence. Every English word belongs to one of these categories according to its work.
Think of a sentence like a cricket team. Every player has a different role. Similarly, every word has a different job.
The Eight Parts of Speech

| 6 | Preposition | Shows relation | In, On, Under |
| 7 | Conjunction | Joins words or sentences | And, But, Because |
| 8 | Interjection | Shows sudden feeling | Wow!, Alas!, Hurrah! |
